The sign warns you... but did we listen? Of course not. Try explaining this to your child... And that really wasn't the worst of it. Through most of it I was so dumbstruck I actually forgot to take pictures! And it wasn't so much the apparatus as it was the descriptions on the wall of what they used it for.
The rest of the village was quite nice though Especially this guy "I am Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod ~ There can be only one!"
My Favorite room was the textiles room No surprise there and I really think I'd like to try to make something like this It doesn't look too complicated and would look really nice over a black shirt and pants, doncha think?
They also had some nice ceramic pieces out to dry
All in all a nice place to wander through ~
So for now, Adios from Julianne ~ Princess of Quitealot

Oh, that reminds me of a traveling museum exhibit I once saw. It was on the history of torture devices. FASCINATING stuff...but yes..not so kid friendly!!
That torture stuff does look pretty creepy!--albeit interesting. :)
P.S. Was the massage therapist you saw that one time, part of the torture exhibit? *grin* I couldn't believe that happened to you! What a bad experience.
