Here are three of them ~ although Nate says the other day he saw four together. 
They are pretty much blind so you can almost walk right up to them. These guys are all juveniles who have made our area home.Richard also spotted this beautiful bird on top of one of the trees outside.
Sorry about the quality of the pic but I didn't want to go outside the screen and have him fly off (which happened about 2 minutes after I took this). It was a particularly large egret. It's amazing to watch them fly.It's one of the things I love most about our neighborhood is getting to see all these wonderful creatures.
This last creature was NOT in our yard, thank goodness.
This spider was HUGE! Like the size of Richard's hand huge. We've had these spiders in our yard but thankfully much smaller. While I'm not a fan of spiders, it was really cool looking.

The armadillos are adorable - we get bunnies and racoons and lots of chipmunks, but no 'dillos!
The spider gets a big EEEEEEeeeeeeeeeek from me, tho - he's a BIG one - YIKES!
Love all your critters. We get those spiders, too. They are very impressive. I think they are called Golden Orb, maybe? But like you, we just call them "the spider as big as your hand."!
OMG. Maybe I don't want to live in Florida. That spider is creeping me the heck OUT!
The wildlife in Florida is amazing! :) I loved that when we vacationed there. But I would not like that spider!--yikes!!!!
I love the wildlife pictures so different than what we have in our yard. Nature Girl is still carrying around her armadillo.
We had a possum in the yard this week, thankfully we haven't seen the bear again.
