3 weeks and counting....

So our little Charlie is 3 weeks old and getting more adorable every day. Jen has been great about sending me either a picture or a video every day via the phones.   What would I do without modern technology.  This is her two week old pic ~ she looks just like her daddy.

I did get to go up and see them last week ~ all by myself. I didn't have to share her with anyone... pure Charlie heaven.

I had to take my sewing machine in to be serviced so I was going to go over to Tampa as usual until my uber brilliant husband suggested I take it North instead of West. Huh? OH! Now why didn't I think of that... so I found a Baby Lock dealer between here and Jacksonville and the plan was to drop it off, head to Jax for a few hours and then come back and pick up the machine on my way home. Turned out even better though cause he was able to service my machine while I waited ~ poor me had to wander around a fantastic new-to-me quilt shop for about an hour and then head to Jax. But now I didn't have to leave at 3:30 to get back in time to pick up the machine ~ I got to stay much longer.
We had a nice lunch together at my favorite wings place ~ did some grocery shopping... I got to feed her and cuddle her ~ and NOT change her. Best off all worlds. I don't think I could love this child anymore..but yet I do love her more, every time I see her.  I did get some good grandpuppy time in too.  They are good with the baby ~ mostly indifferent. 
I think I held Charlie the ENTIRE time I was there and man, was it hard to leave.  I'll get to see her again in a couple of weeks when J&J go down to So Fla for her brother's high school graduation.  They will come here on Thursday night ~ and head to Ft. Lauderdale friday morning ~ leaving the puppers with us until they come back through on Monday ~ when I get to see Charlie again!!!

Life just doesn't get any better than this....
